The Living Thames Barrier

This Living Thames Barrier City tackles some of London’s most polemic issues - the underdeveloped city of East London, the preparation of the estuary airport and the need for a new flood barrier due to the rising sea level and north sea surges. Instead of enormous investments spent solely for a defence barrier, the intention is to propose a new barrier city with renewable energy that can sustain and payback these large scale investments.
